Because of conflicts with the land owner at the start of this trail, we no longer recccomend riding this trail. Please contact the San Diego Mountain Biking Association to express your support for access to this trail.

The Anderson Truck Trail is an abandoned jeep trail that hugs the eastern hills of the El Capitan Resevoir. Since the lower part of the trail is no longer accessable by four wheeled vehicles it has turned into a great single track. The ride is often rode as a one way run, but is really a better up and back. It is a perfect ride to prepare yourself for the more strenuous rides such as Nobel Canyon.
