The Grasslands
The grasslands is one of the few areas left of the large native grasslands that used to cover much of Southern California. This area is a great place to bring beginning riders and children. The grasslands are bordered by Kumeyaay Lake, another good family area. Following this trail will take you to the trails to Fortuna Mountain and Upper Oak Canyon.
