Trails Noble Canyon consists only of the one trail, the Noble Canyon Trail. But that one trail is a doozy. The trail is 100% singletrack for 10 mile and drops almost 2,500 feet. Starting at Penny pines you will first make a short climb to the trail summit. Then the downhill will begin. You will descend through pine forests first few miles intermixed with chapparel. After that you will enter the oak groves which contain the best parts of the trail. Through this area the trail is smooth and banked. You will be in constant motion as you twist your way down the trail. Further down the trail drops into the chapparel and sage scrub. Here the trail turns very technical. You will get a chance to test your bike handling skills over boulders, loose rock, and twisting trails. A moderate, but shallow climb takes you to the last descent. This last part is the most difficult dropping over a series of boulders and waterbars. |
