There are two entrances to Sycamore Canyon. The best is to use the park entrance off of Hwy. 67. This entrance is only open on weekends. However, it is still possible to park at the gate on weekdays. To get to this entrance, take Hwy. 67 The entrance will be on the west side of the highway. You must be careful, because the park entrance comes up suddenly and is not well marked. It is likely that you will pass by the entrance on the first try, and have to make a U-turn to get back to the entrance.

You may also enter the park from Sycamore Canyon Dr. To get to this entrance, take I-15 or Hwy. 67 to Poway Rd. Take Poway Rd. to Garden Rd. Take Garden Rd. East until you cross Sycamore Canyon Rd. Take Sycamore Canyon Rd. south until it dead-ends in the park. This parking lot is open daily.
