San Diego Mountain Biking

Sycamore Canyon is one of San Diego County's newer parks. The park was part of a local ranch until the 80's. The old ranch house and outlying facilities are still in the middle of the park, and are occupied by the park staff.

Sycamore canyon offers a set of fun singletrack rides. There also a few fire road climbs and a nice ride through the center of the valley. Sycamore Canyon is an outstanding ride for the intermediate rider, and still fun for the advanced rider. Beginning riders will enjoy the ride from Santee Lakes.

Special thanks to the San Diego Mountain Biking Assosciation and others who got Martha's Grove opened as a one-way downhill singletrack through the park.
